These soup bowl edges are scalloped but in a far less pronounced fashion than other willow versions, and the latticework around the rim is of a finer, more intricate detail before it dissolves tantalisingly into the mists of flow blue.

There's plenty of crazing but only minor discoloration on these bowls - not as much as one might expect considering their age. Three of the bowls have the booths imprint on the back and the date stamp (three figures MYY) as follows:- 328 (March 1928) - 522 (May 1922) x 2…whilst one of them has no imprint (it has the Booths stamp though, just not the indented imprint).

I do love willow and rare versions in particular. But despite my lifelong passion for pottery, these were the first Booths Davenport treasures to come into my hands. Hopefully they will go to someone who will value them - maybe that's you!
