I've listed Gustavsberg bone china, and flintware, but this is the first listing for Gustavsberg stoneware! It's Lindberg's LT model which also features Lindberg's own decor. Arena is one of two documented decors on the LT model, the other being Birka, although as usual the ceramics world holds surprises and I've located others/special editions.

Arena was enormously popular when it was released and for good reason. The cup model itself is a smooth, round and satisfying hold, whilst stoneware is very durable (read dishwasher safe!) so despite their age these cups have no nicks or cracks. The decor shows the comfort and care of handpainted brushstrokes in deep burnt sienna.
