Another kitsch and classic beauty from by Carl Tielsch (who founded the Altwasser factory in 1845) and who led the way in Art Nouveau around the turn of the century.

This particular cup & saucer are antique, since the pottery mark is the one used by C.T. between 1845 and 1909. It has two bands of gold filigree pattern and a raised relief pattern on the saucer. Compare this one with a similar style in pink and gold. The gold is a little worn, but so would you be after 100 years.
