Carl Tielsch | Nouveau-Deco | Turquoise floral (take 2) | Blue Band c. 1875-00 | Silesia

My second blue banded creation from Carl Tielsch (boy, do I love his stuff!); this one was acquired with matching coffee set which is listed separately (watch this space though as I investigate a new bundling software!)

Carl Tielsch and Hermann Ohme (who I also adore!) were very prominent Silesian pottery manufacturers and are particularly known for Art Nouveau and Deco porcelain. The backstamp on these cups are the green eagle emblem which dates them to between 1875 and 1900.

There are no chips to any of the cups, nor any cracks. The gilt is substantially worn in certain places, and the saucer undersides have a few chips in places (which can't be seen when they are right side up).
