Kutani | Navy & Orange Blossom | Asian Exportware

A really sweet and unexpected decor on this very delicate cup and saucer. It's not often one sees a navy and orange decor on creamware. The rims decorated with geometric fine line gold are reminiscent of traditional Kutani porcelain, but the shape of the cup is distinctly European. I've classed it under Asian Exportware, but just because it says import, doesn't necessarily mean it's from Japan (even if it's the most likely). These cups had a matching sugar bowl with them which is listed separately. They're in very good condition and a superb choice for any vintage tea party :)
