I'd been staring at this pattern for rather a long while after I spotted it wondering what it reminded me of, and the answer came to me when I found the same pattern in Green.

I find it to be uncannily similar to Gustavsberg Galejan by Hennix which came out in 1967. This one was produced in 1969-71. Yet I'm not accusing anyone of copying, after all new art is produced at the edges of old. But whether any more direct transfer of artistic vision - through mentorship or merger - occured between Hennix & Hakala, I don't yet know. In any case, it's beautiful.
