ALP Lidköping | Nouveau-Deco | Coffee Set | 4 people c. 1925

A perfectly pristine Art Nouveau Coffee Set, glazed in a gentle luster with gold leaf Empire Style decor. The only pottery stamp to be found is on the sugar bowl, ALP Lidköping, the porcelain factory which merged through various restructurings with Göteborgs Keramik & Rörstrand. Out of the three names, I'm guessing they went with Rörstrand because it had the historical kudos of being the second porcelain factory in Europe. This stamps dates the set to the years 1925-31.

I've marked pattern fade on the detailed condition section. That's because in places the gold/gilt has worn off as is to be expected. You must hand wash this item!
