Kahla | Vintage Blau Saks | GDR German flintware | demitasse duo

This superbly crisp little cup depicts a pattern Kahla calls "Blau Saks" and it was manufactured at some point after WW2 and 1989, as borne out by the stamp "Made in GDR". (To my eyes, blau saks is almost identical to Royal Copenhagen's Danish Blue, but they are classed as separate patterns since blau saks is created by printing stencil whereas the traditional Danish mussel pattern is painted by hand.)
