H. Aynsley | Copenhagen | Strawflower | Vintage side plates c.1940-50

A nice addition to Chinamania's Strawflower-Musselmalet-Danish blue collection!

H. Aynsley's version of the strawflower pattern is slightly more frilly than Kahla's starkly stencilled version embellished with extra "leaves" around the middle and along the stems. Their version is called Copenhagen and these plates date from around 1950.

H. Aynsley was the last in the great Aynsley porcelain dynasty who used the famous family name.
