Royal Crown Japan | Black & Gold Coffee Can, Vintage Mocha Cup and Saucer c. 1960

This is one in a range of miniatures and lusterware cups I've hand picked over the last few years, most from my personal collection (before I ran out of space and decided to start trading!). Each cup is a beautiful representation of its kind. Some are souvenir cups, others are Fragonard cups, others still are art deco lusterware.

This one is decorated with a Royal Crown, and hand painted gold filigree; The crown is most likely an insignia of the import branch of Royal Carlton, New York. The company specializes in porcelain gifts and decorative accessories and produced many of them during the 1950s-60s.
