Journalists say that it's the white space which often gets the point across to the reader... the gaps... the pauses. Similarly I find the same to be true of this cup, which is free from the elaborate chintz of other cups - and all the more breathtaking for it. The space is highlighted by tiny hearts and the leafy lace band meets in the middle to showcase one, singularly beautiful rose. Each piece is surrounded with a 22k gold band.

Once upon a time men died to obtain the formula for porcelain, they called it white gold. This is the cup that makes me believe it.
