Swinnertons | Blue Willow (3 man) | Teacup duo | Rare c.1946

Swinnertons is a highly collectible pottery manufacturer which along with many others were absorbed into the Doulton group after many years of successful trading. This willow pattern is nothing out of the ordinary - following the standard 3 man pattern, yet the fact that this small cup  exists is fairly rare. Even though Swinnertons was successful on the balance sheet, it was a relatively small affair, which means pre-1950 examples (like this one) are rare.
