Thomas Forester & Sons | Phoenixware | Serving Bowl | c.1940

This interpretation of the imari pattern is a famous one (at least in England). It's known as phoenixware because the manufactory of its producer Thomas Forester & Sons Ltd. was called Phoenixworks (after the street name). This bowl is in beautiful condition. As the works were closed by 1959 the bowl was definitely produced before then. The stamp indicates that it was between 1910 - 1959 probably around 1940.
