I've listed Ohme's porcelain before, and it's pleasing to find there are others out there who appreciate this potter as much as I do. There's a certain clarity in the Ohme porcelain I've come across, which distinguishes it from many others. This listing is for one Cup & Saucer; the cups are decorated with stylized lilies in turquoise, grey and gold. They are in very good condition, no pattern fade and very little wearing on the gilt; their previous owner obviously cared for them as much as I hope their next owner will.

A little background:Hermann Ohme factory was located in Niedersalzbrunn, Silesia, Germany now the town of Walbrzych in Western Poland. Sadly this factory went out of business in 1928. Why? Not because its products weren't valued, but because in 1930, the world financial crisis occurred and Ohme, who'd exclusively focused on exports, got caught in the downward spiral. However, that also means there's a little bit of mystique around Ohme porcelain...no one is quite certain how many patterns were produced, which means there is always the potential for exciting new discoveries around the corner.
