Rörstrand | Elvy | Model VB | Coffee Cup

Modern, geometric pattern in ochre yellow and dark brown, on the saucer of the Rörstrand VB model - which according to a couple of internet sources, was designed by Carl Harry Stålhane (uncertain!). The coffee cups were produced in 1956 and the tea cups came a year later in 1957. Many of the VB model designs follow this style of decor with geometric patterns on the saucer and a simple matching colour band around the rim of the cup (which is great because they mix and match well!) This listing is for one coffee Cup & Saucer in impeccable condition (especially considering that many cups from the 50s have considerable crazing, but not this one)!
