This world renowned cup is accredited to Stig Lindberg. But that's only half right. The initial sketch behind this distinctive green leaf decoration, was actually drawn up by his assistant Krister Karlmark, one of a few designs submitted to Lindberg, who would colour, stylize and market it. NB. Krister didn’t much like his own sketch!It was designed as part of the ”Berså” (Arbor) series in 1961 and was applied to the bowl shaped cup called model A made of bone china, as was Hennix' Rosa & Tornros (just to mention two)...
