This stunning cup is so perfectly coloured and shiny that it looks like enamel, but it's just thick glaze. However, this perfectly yellow colour suggests that this is an example of antique canaryware which makes it a collector's item since examples are rare (not in the least because the chemicals were toxic and created blisters during the manufacturing process.

This cup has no decor name, only a number - 197. It's placement and signature style stamp indicate that it was produced at the end of the 19th century/beg of 20th.
