I include this pattern in the offshoots of the Willow history, namely because the border is a distinct one which was used first by Spode/Copeland in their Willow pattern (now defined as the Mandarin pattern - a precursor to the standard pattern!). See the last picture for an example.

This is the 'trellis dagger' border also known as the Fitzhugh border*.

The teacup is on the model A (size 2) which was popularized several decades later by Stig Lindberg and the Gustavsberg Gang :)

*The name Fitzhugh for this pattern derives from an association with a blue and white service ordered around 1780 by Englishman Thomas Fitzhugh. Thomas Fitzhugh served from 1786 to 1800 in Guangzhou (Canton) as a director of the British East India Company.
