A delightfully different Ohme with the Silesia stamp dating it from between 1910-1920. The handle is similar to the eglantine mould, but the cup has less relief more deco-ish if you will! As regards the decor, I dont know what it is supposed to represent, yet the thin lines are reminiscent of art nouveau noodles, and yet obviously these are not in loose curves, but geometric angles. Whilst I puzzle on this one, let me know if you have any ideas... The cup blank is called Triomphe (according to my expert in Ohme friend on Instagram :)

Hermann Ohme factory was located in Niedersalzbrunn, Silesia, Germany now the town of Walbrzych in Western Poland. Sadly this factory went out of business in 1928. Why? Not because its products weren't valued, but because in 1930, the world financial crisis occurred and Ohme, who'd exclusively focused on exports, got caught in the downward spiral. However, that also means there's a little bit of mystique around Ohme porcelain...no one is quite certain how many patterns were produced, which means there is always the potential for exciting new discoveries around the corner. This one is a new one for me :)
