Rörstrand | Korall blå | Model VB | Teacup

I was stunned to be able to capture a pair of Korall's recently, this one in blue and another in red. Both of them in perfect shape, to add to Chinamania's VB collection. This is the teacup version of this ultra rare design dating from the 1960s

This isn't the only Korall to be issued by Rorstrand. Olle Alberius designed a vastly differet Korall series in blue and brown for Rörstrand between 1969-72. And given the proximity in time, it poses a mystery as to why this one is also named Korall... (to be continued)
