Rosenthal | Canova | Handpainted | Golden lusterware | mocha coffee set

An incredible and extremely rare example of Rosenthal holographic lusterware on the model 'Canova'. Each piece has been hand-painted with pink, green and gold flowers. The back stamp indicates that the set is from 1922-30 and the initials O.A. are inscribed on the bottom (investigations are underway!)

Condition: The pot and sugar bowl are in very good condition. Two of the four cups' luster has rubbed partially away and there is some wear to the gold in places. Otherwise chip free.
