The Boro service was a special order in 1960 from the house manufacturer Borohus then owned by HSB (the cooperative association for housing in Sweden). It's said that Stig designed for them to give away as Christmas gifts (yes, GIVE away!) - to their new house owners - but was never publicly sold. There also weren't that many made and for that reason it is VERY difficult to get hold of them...This listing is for one boro pattern SA-1 coffee cup and matching saucer; (FYI this pattern also appears on a tea cup (SA-2 model)...side plates and lunch plates).The Boro cup on the SA-1 model is an illustrated blue and white line design with hearts and flowers (it's one of the only cups where the pattern on the teacup is different, with a womans face!). The condition of three cups and saucers is good.
