And here at last is Strawberry which I’ve been trying to collect for a long time! There are some rare cups on the SAL model, and this is one of them. Stig Lindberg and Margareta Hennix produced many designs on the SA line, but although Karin worked at the same time as them both, she mainly worked on other ceramics projects and seemed to veer towards design more than decor.

According to my research so far, Björquist produced three cups on the SA line; this one, hearts, also on the SAL) and Körsbär (cherry, on the SA-1).

Körsbär is rare (and expensive!) but this one is rarer still, as is the one called hearts. In fact I've only seen them come up occasionally for sale at auction houses... until recently!
