Gefle U.E. | Kreol | Ringström | EA Teacup

The EA model has some lovely designs; this one is called Kreol and was issued the same year as the Gavott, in 1960. It has one of Helmer Ringström's most popular motifs, crosses! He's done a fair few patterns which incorporate crosses, including of course the cup actually named Cross :) This version is in an azur glaze and sits on a large lagun saucer, but like Gavott, Kreol also comes in yellow!

The cup is in good condition. In one place the glaze seems to have slipped slightly and its thicker in this place than it is on the rest of the cup. However, you cannot see this difference, only feel it.
