Carl Tielsch | Art Nouveau/Deco | Turquoise floral | Blue Band c. 1875-95 | Silesia

A superb and well preserved example of 19th century Carl Tielsch porcelain, with beautiful turquoise flowers highighted in gold. Particularly attractive is the embossing on the lower half of the cup, which I love simply because it exhibits what care and attention to detail went into the creation. To my fellow Silesia porcelain lovers out there, note the similarity in style between these cups and the coffee pot produced by the Hermann Ohme factory
