Broadhurst | Rushstone | Kathie Winkle | Retro Tableware

Rushstone seems to be Kathie's most popular design -  a conclusion I draw from the number of mentions it has in the press, from the number of sets still for sale and the fact that its the only Broadhurst piece to be in a Victoria and Albert museum collection. As a decor it matches very well with Concorde, Seattle and Compass :) The copies I have are not pristine; there is pattern fade, but the items are still gorgeous and useable with no cracks or nicks. I love the Swedish ceramics I find around my chosen country of residence, but I also love the pottery I grew up with in the North of England (and it’s a lot better suited to my budget!). Most of the patterns in this section are by Kathie Winkle whose knack for design is increasingly recognised as genius (she produced over 150 of them).

They also mix and match very well which means you don't have to remain restricted to one pattern for a beautifully eclectic table setting. I call it mixmatched or mosaic tableware. You can use it every day, but also for special occasions... birthdays & Christmas ...or even just to make yourself feel special (that's important too!).
