Cherries are for good times and especially midsummer, so it makes sense that this was a popular cup in Sweden. It's one of the prettiest designs on this model, sweet, even maybe a little shy but unashamedly tempting...The theme for this cup - both concept and design - is similar to Karin's other Gustavsberg peers. Berries, fruit, greenery. I'm guessing that helped save on manufacturing costs and process. The colours for Körsbär are the same shades as Hennix used for Juliana, and similarly the saucer is a block ring of green with a white centre (some cups which use this design are Krusbär, Juliana, Tahiti, & Emma in green). It's something which makes them highly collectible... and also ideal if you want to mix and match.

I have five of this cup in stock; none of them are chipped but there is some wear on the pattern - not excessively, but with age. I will send the best first, but feel free to ask me for photos of the particular cup which is next in line.
