Roschütz | Cream & Gold Mocha Cup, c.1960

This cup is from my range of miniatures and lusterware cups I've hand picked over the last few years, most of them were previously my personal collection (before I ran out of space and decided to start trading!). Each cup is a beautiful representation of its kind. Some are souvenir cups, others are gold filigree cups, others still are art deco lusterware.

This cream and gold cup is from a German maker called Roschütz, a company which operated from 1811 until 1991. It started off as a family owned business whose land sat on some kaolin deposits... This particular cup bears the stamp from around 1960 (by which time the founding family had long sold out). It's in good condition, although there is some slight wear to the gold, however the gilded handle is still beautifully shiny.
