Karlskrona U.E. | Jarnestad | Leaf illustration (röd) 1950s | Coffee cup

Alf Jarnestad trained under Wilhelm Kåge and worked as Stig Lindberg's assistant over at Gustavsberg before moving on to Karlskrona. I have another of his designs on this model listed which is yellow with black stripes which is remarkably similar to an earlier, famous cup "Pike" from Gustavsberg. This one with red leaves could conceivably be compared to Salix which was produced from 1954-7 ...
