It doesn't really matter where you put the onion pattern, it always looks good. This is Gustavsbergs version of the onion pattern, they called the Dresden pattern because Dresden is the town next to Meissen and the onion pattern was originally coined by the manufacturer Meissen.

This is the largest model teacup produced by Gustavsberg, the LL. This pattern also comes on the SA cup (a mocka cup) and the SA-1 (the coffee cup). A vintage and rare  version is on the LI model! Buy all three in the bundle for a big discount!
