Gefle cups are notorious for their flaws and ironically this makes perfect examples very very rare and very very expensive! Even those with flaws are desirable and because they are expensive, the best policy for you and I is to discuss the condition of the cup, no holds barred!

This cup is generally in very good condition for its age, with the following notes: the interior glaze is glossy, but with three very small black dots (see picture 2). There is one fleabite ship on the bottom rim which doesn't show when right side up or in pictures taken from this angle but is nevertheless a defect. There is also slight discolouration on the handle and one black dot.

Regarding the saucer, there are no chips, no discolouration but less glossy with some superficial scratching to the glaze. This cup in perfect condition has sold at 20,000SEK (when the market was high). I think with the current market and in this condition we're looking at round 3500SEK.
