Gefle U.E. | Fontana | Ternell | EH Coffee Cup

This Gefle cup is called Fontana by Berit Ternell. Fontana isn't a common swedish word, but its derived from the Italian for fountain in the sense of the source of a spring (an appropriate name for a drinking vessel!). The Fontana was immensely popular when it was released but because of that is fairly available even now.

Berit won prizes for her work and during the 60s was considered the foremost designer at Gefle.

The coffee cup is 7 cm diameter and 5,5cm height. The saucer is 13 cm diameter.
