Gefle U.E. | Tähti | EA Coffee Cup

Such a pretty cup called Tähti, which like others on the EA version comes in several varieties - blue, green and red. It's also relatively rare since it was only produced for one year (1966-67). The model is of course by Arthur Percy but the designer unknown. Tähti (used in Swedish but derived from Estonian/Finnish) means star or asterisk referring - as you can see - from the shape of the flowers printed on the side of the cup. This is the coffee cup version of the EA cup which stands at 6.3cm high and 7.3cm diameter. In good condition!
