Gustavsberg | Diana | Old Gustavsberg Pattern | LI | Lindberg

Just because I've only ever seen one of something doesn't necessarily mean it's rare, but...

I've been doing this for a while, and although Diana comes on the LL model and the SA model (which are also uncommon), this is the only LI model I've seen on the market so far... and that makes it a great collector's cup!

This is not the first Diana pattern Gustavsberg has done. The original Diana appeared on the model A (on which almost all decors featured until the 80s came around) as well as an entire service, in the 1920s... and I suspect this itself was an update on the earlier 1917 pattern Triumf back when hey were called Gustafsberg ;)

The gold on the rim is a little worn, but there are no chips or cracks; this particular cup was likely produced in the late 70s.

This is the coffee cup size of the LI model.
