And this is clear in how Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) and his team worked.The decor of many cups on the SA range conforms to an easily replicable idea (for example, the saucer is often a white center surrounded by a block colour). This meant an easier, less expensive manufacturing process. Most of the saucers can also be matched with many of the other cups decors independently. The saucer for Tahiti can be paired with Krusbär or Körsbär for example. The decor concepts were also similar and can be clustered together. So for example you have cups with berries (blueberries, cherries, gooseberries) which become associated with each other in the consumer mind and led to greater sales. Or you could cluster by colour - the red and green of Bjöquist's cup "Körsbär" is the exact same colours of Hennix "Juliana".

For the browns such as this one, you have Florilla, Viggen, Kungliga Slott etc. Each of them (excepting Viggen has a pattern). However the brown used is the same, and they can be easily mixed and matched.
