Gustavsberg | Geranium | Antique | Old Gustafsberg

The Geranium service was the one that all Swedish grannies seemed to have in their china cabinet. Ok, that may be an exagerration but I've found it everywhere and people still know it by name. It came in pink and blue versions, but more pleasing to my collector eyes is that Gustavsberg did other flowers on the same cup model. So you know, I can mix and match :) These were produced from 1895 to 1936. Which is a pretty long run by anyone's estimation!

By the by, have a look at that little point on the handle of the cup, which I like to think Karin Björquist picked up on and modernised for her cup models :)
