It doesn't really matter where you put the onion pattern, it always looks good. This is Gustavsbergs version of the onion pattern, they called the Dresden pattern because Dresden is the town next to Meissen and the onion pattern was originally coined by the manufacturer Meissen.

This is the LI model produced by Gustavsberg It's super rare, so rare I didn't know it existed before I found it.
