Gefle U.E. | Helianthus | Andersson | EB Teacup

Here is a wonderful (large!) cup from a new designer in my Gefle range, Göran Andersson - a man with a very piercing gaze if you're to believe the pics on Upsala Ekeby's website! It's called Helianthus (latin name for sunflower, and also from the Greek God Helios who drove the sun chariot!).

The EB comes in coffee cup size but this is the teacup size; cup diameter 10cm at the rim, height 7.5cm. Saucer a whopping 15.75cm diameter which is a very satisfying hold.
