Gustavsberg | Marmoring (rosa) | Björquist | SAL | Lindberg | Ltd Ed 1980s

Oh my, well this one came out of the woodwork all of a sudden. I've never heard of it or seen it before, but those little feet mean it's derived from the SAL model and rarer even since it has a ledge around the bottom rim which is slightly different from your regular SA, but the same measurements. I'm sure there is a proper model name, but right now I'm just calling it SAL Mod :)

If I had a porcelain model family tree then it would be a descendant created later than the first series, because the pastel pink marbling is most likely not a 60s of 70s style, but an 80s... this can't be the only example, I suspect there are more pastels in the wind... (Remember when we decorated with pastels?)

Update. This cup exists also in blue and the National Museum attributes it to none other than Karin Björquist.
