Lusterware | Pink & Pearl Polka miniature | Fragonard Lovers, golden filigree flowers and finishing touches

This cup is from my range of miniatures and lusterware cups that I've hand picked over the last few years; most of them were previously my personal collection (before I ran out of space and decided to start trading!). Each cup is a beautiful representation of its kind. Some are souvenir cups, others are Fragonard cups, others still are art deco lusterware.This one combines several historical porcelain themes into one tiny cup; the segments derived from the old imari patterns, pink luster first invented by Wedgewood in the 19the century and the idealized lovers that adorned so many vases in Victorian times all polished off with hand painted gold leaf.
