What I really love about the 1950s is how simple the decor can be, whilst tremendously appealing at the same time. Who'd have thought simple stripes could appear so ...satisfying!

The name of this cup is Stolpar or 'posts' in english, It also comes in yellow and is on Arthur Percy's AU cup model. Decor designer unknown.

I have both the cute coffee cup and the teacup version in stock. This listing is for the teacup:

TeaCup diameter (at the top) 9.5cm
Saucer diameter 15.5cm

The condition of this item is good. The saucer is unblemished with no discolouration, no cracks and no crazing. The cup has some crazing inside and a little patch of slight discolouration on the outside at the bottom, but this is almost invisible unless you're studying the cup very closely.

***After a quality control on all AU cups, I have updated the condition of this cup to 'Other'. Although the condition seems good (high gloss, good colour) the crazing does allow water to penetrate to the pottery. If this is something you can accept, then you can buy it at a very discounted price, or wait until potentially, it can be reglazed.
