Gefle U.E. | Zebra | Trost | AU Teacup | Percy

The most celebrated cup by Eugen Trost is Zebra (so called for obvious reasons!) and is a really iconic statement piece to add to your coffee time. It's hand painted and was manufactured in the 1950s.

The AU cup model by Arthur Percy is one of the most popular models from Gefle and although this cup is expensive, it has more variants which are even more expensive (and a lot rarer!!) in green, turquoise, red... I haven't found any yet for a price which we can all reasonably afford, but I'm on the lookout :)

NB. All of Trost's work is actually valuable and rare, partly because he worked a lot under Arthur Percy on Arthur's designs, as well as supervising others and partly because in 1963, Trost suffered a stroke and his working life was sadly cut short.
