Rörstrand | Fokus | Coffee Set | Stålhane

This is one of Rörstrand's most well known designs by Carl Harry Ståhlane, and it shines as if it just came out of the box.

Whilst yellow and brown may no longer be as appreciated a colour combo as it was in the 60s, the overriding impact of this set is fresh and stylish, especially as each cup is delightfully set off with a band of bright orange inside the rim. These are handpainted, which means you can see the brushstrokes.

Compare this set with Carmen (also by Carl Harry) which uses a similar same pattern in deep red.
