Rörstrand | Mon Amie | Marianne Westmann, Blue & White Porcelain

Designed by Marianne Westman in 1952, Mon Amie was an instant hit. Apparently it was originally based on a sketch of a White Labrador Tea Flower (see picture!)

The design became cobalt blue and a classic of mid-century design. I havent found out why it has a french name yet, so there's still some mystery to solve...!

This listing is for one cup and saucer; these are relatively small cups measuring 7cm it diameter at the top and 5cm diameter at the bottom. The saucers are 13cm diameter. They are in great condition.
