Rörstrand | Mystery Geometric (röd) | Model VB | Tea cup

Lots of folk are currently ooh-ing and ah-ing at the rare DM model cups which are indeed beautiful, but Rörstrands VB model is something of an understated collector's dream cup. This unknown pattern for example designed in the 1950s (which also comes in blue), can be effortlessly coordinated with Bimbo, Tröja, Tim, Fiesta and several other VB models which feature a similar band of colour around the rim, and retro geometic designs on the saucers. Which means any of the saucers would look good with any of the cups. They all serve as pedestals to the white arch, crowned by the matching or complementary rim. I have two of these cups which are both are in very good condition, no chips and no cracks - but the pattern is a little worn on the saucers. Some folk on the interweb suspect that these beautiful cups are the work of Carl-Harry Stålhane... I'd plump for Marianne or Leena tho!
