Another beautiful hand painted design on the SF model which has become so popular decades after its manufacture; this one is by Carl Harry Stahlåne, who also designed probably the most popular Rörstrand cup of all time, Grön Anna.
This decor is called Tuva, a curious name for a cup which appears to feature a pomegranate with blueberries. Tuva means tuft, and my theory is that it alludes to the sprouting of leaves and stalks out of the top of the fruits. I have however been reliably informed that it is also a girls name and we know many cups are named like this. (I prefer my tufty theory though). This listing is for the SF Coffee cup.
